At AWARE, we understand that this may be one your largest investments to-date, and we take that very seriously. So, we’ll quantify the value that we provide to your investment — through our initial consult.

The Introductory Design Consultion includes a:

• General assessment of the feasibility and scope of your project
• Preliminary site analysis
• Preliminary code and zoning review
• Three-hour consultation — where we discuss our findings and answer any questions, in person or via internet telephony. 

For Arizona residents in the Pima and Santa Cruz County, AWARE will come to you (your site, home, or office). For those elsewhere, AWARE will meet you virtually; we'll thoroughly review and discuss your vision via internet telephony.

AWARE Architecture is as transparent as we can be when it comes to our design fees; the size, scope, location and complexity of the project all affect the total cost of design. Though, for budgeting purposes, you can customarily assume the industry standard: 10% of your total construction budget.

Typically, we begin every project with an agreed upon hourly fee — based on a Time and Materials Agreement. From our experience, this offers you the lowest risk; it gives us a chance to work together — before committing to any large investment in time and money.
